    In both cases you will need to use a credit card. The card is used solely to prove you are over 18 and a real human. Windows Azure has a spending cap in place for MSDN and trial accounts that will keep you from spending more than your free allocation of resources, so you credit card WILL NEVER BE CHARGED.

    Brian H. Prince is the Chief Technical Cloud Evangelist for Microsoft, based in the US. He gets super excited whenever he talks about technology, especially cloud computing, patterns, and practices.
